Ready for a World Adventure?

If so, you now have everything you need!!

It's been about 2 years in the making and is now available for sale in my store!  World Adventure! is a compilation of over 50 games, activities, science projects & crafts designed to celebrate the diversity of our world!  With the help of this resource, you can explore 33 countries in 6 continents.  It is structured by continent and each game or activity relates back to the country it was inspired by.  You can run World Adventure! as a camp or simply use it as a resource within your classroom or studio as you explore world music.

World Adventure! has all the information you need for each activity including a supply list and detailed instructions.  It also includes many resources you can print out and information you need to make individual pieces.  If you'd like to run this as a camp, I've provided detailed information as to how I ran mine with a printable passport and stickers for each country!  In addition, there is a word wall of unique world instruments that you can easily print out!

I ran this camp twice last summer and my students told me it was one of the best camps...EVER!  They often ask me during lessons if we can play a game or do an activity we did at World Adventure! last summer.

World Adventure! is available as an instant download.
If you are planning a camp this summer, any of these 3 resources would make a great choice!  I hope whatever you do, that your summer plans are falling into place.!

I am excited to use the Road Trip camp in a couple weeks! This World Adventure resource looks fantastic. I would use it as a yearly theme and incorporate it in a camp and group lessons throughout the year.

I just found out about the music camp from another blog and would love to use it for my piano group classes this summer. It would be able to be a run way to break up routine and do something different. Thanks for doing this! :)

I have a Piano Discovery Camp for children who have not taken piano and are interested in learning. I have been looking for something for current students. This would be great for them as a camp or "piano parties".

Wow, this looks amazing! I am running summer camps for the first time this year and this would make my planning so much simpler :D besides, as my students are very international, I think they would love this opportunity to go on a world music adventure :)

I am looking so forward to a summer camp this year, and your program is just the thing I need to make it great. Thanks so much.

Love this theme! So versatile, culturally, musically.....you could even have a monthly group lesson and do a different country each month. Then at the end of the year do a "Travel around the World" theme and each student perform a different type of song.......Hey, that is a good idea that I just might use!!!

I am the founder of Heart Academy of Music, a Christian based music ministry school that not only provides a well rounded music education for children and youth, but also focuses on community outreach in our community. Some of the outreach programs include free lessons through homeless shelters and our Adopt a Student Program (people from the community can adopt one of our students to pay for their lesson fees and support them in their performances), music workshops in children's hospitals, nursing home performances and service, and Acts of Random Music (students and teachers go out into the community and put on unexpected performances). Our biggest community outreach program is our Backyard Music Clubs. This is a free summer music camp for children, ages 5-15, in lower income areas of our city. We offer a fun and safe environment for children to learn all about music and get a free meal. Our theme this year is Music Around the World. I have been looking for a good curriculum for Musical Destinations station and have yet to find something that will work. I am very interested in a lot of the games and techniques I have seen in your blog and I think this program would be perfect for our camp. I hope that we can use "World Adventure"!

I am looking for a new incentive program for my studio this coming fall. I tried one for the first time last year and it was a HUGE success! In fact, I have had many referrals for new students because of it. I also review music education ideas for the DVMTA Facebook page and would like to review this as well. I have heard it's loads of fun! Thanks!

I would love to have a free copy of another camp. I just purchased the world camp. Looking forward to using it this summer.

Thanks for offering the free give-away! Your books look great!
I also struggle with the technology aspect of teaching. I have loved reading so many wonderful blogs, but then I felt like I wasn't doing enough! My students LOVE having note races and playing board games with me, etc. Technology is the way of the world these days and it plays a part, but thanks for verifying that it's still okay to do some things the old-fashioned way! :o)

Thank you for giving us all of these neat opportunities to teach. I'm looking forward to starting a summer music camp, if not this year then in the near future.

I'd be interested in trying to use this at individual lessons, possibly try a camp sometime too!

It's so wonderful to find a resource that has all the planning done for you! I've held summer camps for my students the last two years and, WOW!, they require a lot of time in planning and preparation. It's worth every minute, but when time is precious, having your materials already in place would be a God-send. Thank you for sharing your gift of teaching with the rest of us.

I just discovered your blog. You have some wonderful ideas! I have been teaching piano lessons for many years, and am just now trying to make them more fun for my students. I have thought about offering music camps in the past, but never think about it in time to get it all together. Having the plans already in hand would be awesome!

I've been going crazy trying to come up with a new theme for this year's summer camp and this would be perfect! Thanks for creating these wonderful programs!

World Adventure looks like an amazing resource. I have never been brave enough to try to offer a summer camp, but my husband has been out of work for 14 months so if I win this it would be a perfect opportunity to earn some extra money and build up my confidence in offering a summer camp. I would also use it as an incentive during regular piano lessons to get my students more motivated. Thanks for offering this giveaway to someone.

I was considering offering summer camp again this year. This program is perfect and thank you so much for creating it.

I'd love for World Adventure to be our theme for summer lessons. It would be fun to use different countries for each week of the summer. A Trip Around the World Recital would be really fun to plan for in August!

Heart Academy of music would love to use your resources for our music ministry Backyard Music Clubs this summer. This is a free summer music program for children ages 5-15 in lower income areas. Our goal as a school is to spread music to those who wouldn't normally have the opportunity whether it be because they do not have the money to pay for lessons, no form of transportation, no support from their family, they have health issues, and much more. Music is so important and we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience the joy that music brings to life.
We run strictly on donations at this point and any help in resources are always appreciated. Thank you!

I LOVE the idea of a summer music camp! Some activities could even continue as a supplement to school music class in our local elementary school as after-school enrichment. Thank you!

I would love to be able to use your World Adventure. Every year we have a different theme and would love to use "World Adventure" this year. I would have a foam 4 x 8 ft board painted and we would travel from country to country using your program for learning. My students really look forward to using the games and learning from them. Thank you for the many ideas.
